“Sex and chocolate! Was there ever such a marriage made in heaven? Isn’t the thought of it making you bite your lip? Chocolate melting on your tongue…desire pooling in your gut… Pheromones, endorphins, theobromine…there’s a chemical connection between sex and chocolate that makes our craving for the pair together far more than the sum of its parts.
Oleander Plume has always been obsessed by this coupling and so, inspired by her wicked short story Chemical [se]X, she corralled a baker’s dozen of erotica writers and force fed them chocolate until they complied with her wishes. Each one of them has turned in a mini-masterpiece of chocolate, seduction and red-hot sizzling sex that will have your cheeks burning and your fingers reaching for just…one…more.
All of the writers Oleander selected are at the top of their high caliber game. From seasoned writers who’ve already proved their mettle to a number of extraordinarily gifted newcomers, you’ll find so much satisfaction between these pages. In every story, the aphrodisiac chocolates developed in Oleander’s original story put in an appearance—causing a submissive to turn Domme, kicking off an orgy at a roller disco, rekindling a long-dead marriage, and playing havoc within the repressed confines of religious order. Men jump on men, a woman jumps on her husband’s boss, twosomes become threesomes become foursomes… These chocolates need to carry a warning—just like this book—too hot to handle!
Naturally, each copy of Chemical [se]X should come with its own small gold box of aphrodisiac chocolates. We’re so sorry it doesn’t! But rest assured, the stories you’ll find between these pages will leave you just as heated as any aphrodisiac could have done. Finger-licking good!
Partake of the feast: In “[du]X”, Dario Dalla Lasta takes us for a testosterone-charged spin around the roller-disco courtesy of, you guessed it, some very special chocolates…”

“How good is Chemical [se]X? It’s so good that when reading it on the train home from work, I actually missed my stop. Somewhere in the middle of Dario Dalla Lasta’s deliciously filthy rollerskating romp, “[du]X”…I looked up only to realize that the doors had closed and I was still on the train.”

From 5amWriterMan on GoodReads: “Dario, I loved your short story, “[du]X” in the Anthology Chemical [se]X. Since reading it I’ve had the urge to have sex in a bathroom stall wearing rollerskates…do you know where I can get a pair of rollerskates? ;-)”
In another GoodReads review, Judith Stoker said “[du]X” was one of her two favorite stories in the entire compilation: “Two men getting hot and heavy in a bathroom stall wearing rollerskates (yes rollerskates and they did slip around a bit) – totally HOT!!” Thank you, Judith! Read her review here.
One more GoodReads reviewer, K.A. Smith, had this to say: “A few of my favorites were Dario Dalla Lasta’s [du] X. Talk about intensely arousing and fun. Dalla Lasta’s character Sage just sounds like the sexiest thing on rollerskates! Yeah, rollerskates. I don’t know why that detail made the story so hot, but it did.” Her full 5-star review can be found here.
Andrea Maclam’s Amazon review of my “retro-inspired” story states: “Roller rinks and satin shorts will never have a better endorsement.” Read her entire 5-star review here.
Here is Oleander Plume’s review of “[du]X”, which she wrote for my Friday Feature:
Dario’s fantastic tale of roller disco bathroom sex starts off with “I have never been a fan of chocolate.” I thought that was a genius opening line, considering the book’s theme, and I was hooked into the story immediately.
First, I have to say I love the way Dario describes the main characters, Turner and Sage, with enough detail to flesh them out, but still leaving plenty of room for the reader’s imagination. I could picture Turner to a T, in his satin shorts and blonde wig, tottering around on skates, drink in hand, along with his partner Sage, masculine and hairy, aptly described as a “hot lumberjack”.
The way Dario worked the original duck shaped truffles into the story made me squeal like a pre-teen, and then naming them “[du]X”?? Brilliant. What happens after Sage introduces Turner to a little gold box containing the chocolates turned my knees to Jello. Hot, steamy, delicious sex, on roller skates in a bathroom stall? Yes. Yes, yes, yes. And I have to add, nobody, I mean NOBODY can describe a man’s junk like Dario Dalla Lasta. Yummy.
When I was finished reading Dario’s story, I was grinning from ear to ear, and horny as hell. [du]X is written with joy, and that joy is infectious. Work like this makes me want to read, makes me want to write, makes me want to strap on skates and go for a spin. But most of all, it just makes me really fucking happy, and that, my friends is what good erotica is all about.
